Experience the ultimate surfing getaway at our cozy private villa Sabay in Bali, complete with daily one-on-one coaching with Level 2 Surfing Coach Chris Byrne. Our coaching clinics are designed for all levels of surfing, with structured training programs and surfing video analysis to ensure that you step into your next level of surfing.
From Villa Sabay, you will be picked up each morning for your One on One elite coaching program that will ensure you surf the best waves on the Bukit. Sessions with Chris will take you to Uluwatu, Padang, Impossible, Bingin, Dreamland, and Balangan. After each coaching session, you will see yourself surfing on video analysis replay, with all video and photos included in the package. Our goal is to surf 2 to 3 times a day, with each surf lasting 2 to 3 hours, depending on the swell and conditions.
The package includes a 6-night/7-day stay for one person in our fully equipped private villa with a pool, full kitchen, and queen bed. You can also bring along a partner who can stay for free, with the option to add coaching for an additional fee. Regular services, facilities, and activities are available to keep everybody stoked and having a great time with exciting things to do. Chris Byrne, also known as “Critta,” is a renowned surfer from the late 70s and 80s and is widely regarded as one of the best surfers of his time. As an accredited professional coach, he holds a Level 2 ISA (International Surfing Association) certification and an ISA Aquatic Rescue and Safety certificate. Co-founder of Byrne Surfboards, which is famous worldwide in the surfing industry, he has a wealth of knowledge on surfboards and theories that he can share with those seeking further education.
With an impressive career since 1977, Chris was an Australian world champion and was ranked in the top 10 in the world for 4 consecutive years on the IPS & ASP professional world tours. Due to an injury, he was appointed as the head coaching director for the Australian government institute of surfing, where he created a unique and elite coaching program for advanced surfers to prepare for world competition.
Chris also served as Ripcurl International’s advertising director for two years and later worked for Quiksilver Europe for six years as their assistant marketing director. Today, he is known as one of the best surf coaches around.
